The ANZMEX Business Council supports the activities of the Australian Alumni Association and encourages the development of other alumni groups of Mexican students who have studied in NZ and or Australians & New Zealanders who have studied in Mexico.  Whilst each group maintains its own identity and determines its own activities, the Business Council is pleased to offer contacts, support and basic administrative services as requested.  Individual Alumni members are welcome to join ANZMEX as full members if they so wish

The Embassy of Australia in Mexico is pleased to share the website for the ALAF Program, another platform of the Australia Awards iniciative.

ALAF Fellowships are designed to provide short term opportunities for study, research and professional attachment programs in Australia delivered by Australian organisations. The program targets senior officials and mid-career professionals who are current and future leaders in their countries. Funded by AusAID, ALAF grants are based on merit, transparency and equal access opportunities.

Valuable information on the objectives and steps to follow for obtaining such fund can be found online for any interested applicants in Latinamerica. Please visit www.alaflatam.org to learn more about the Fellowships and its application process.

Back from Oz - Australian Alumni Workshop

The Australian Alumni Association, honorary members of ANZMEX, invite Alumni members and members of ANZMEX to their first biannual workshop “Back from OZ” workshop -  focused on supporting students upon their return from studies in Australia.

The Australian Alumni Association, honorary members of ANZMEX, invite Alumni members and members of ANZMEX to their first biannual workshop “Back from OZ” workshop -  focused on supporting students upon their return from studies in Australia.

Older Alumni and ANZMEX members are strongly encouraged to participate to share their experiences and perspectives.

Topics discussed will include reverse culture shock, soft skills for graduates and a general overview of the employment  market in Mexico.

ITESM Campus Santa Fe, a new member of ANZMEX, is also participating actively with key speakers and facilities. Edgar Sanchez, Austrade’s Business Manager - Education, has also been involved in the development in this workshop. Australian University representatives will also have a valuable presence.

The Alumni appreciates the support of Center Group for sponsoring the networking session to be held after the workshop at Hookah Santa Fe (Av. Vasco de Quiroga #3880, Local 3, Nivel 4, Lomas de Santa Fe, 05300. Tel 52925562.)
