ANZMEX 2015 Annual Assembly

 

The objectives of the Annual Assembly are the following:

 

a. Ratification and or appointment of board members or functionaries of the Association.

b. Report of the Director regarding the status of membership application of the Association, approve admission and exclusion of Associates.

c. Various issues

 

In addition to legally required elements referred to in the Convocatoria, we will also be:

1. Welcoming new members

2. Acknowledging those members who are engaged in and or championing our CSR programme

3. Discussing plans for 2016

 

Our President, Adrienne Bonwick, will present a summary of ANZMEX 2014 results and the objectives, projects, and events for 2015. Also, Sector Leaders will present their specific objectives followed by a financial update by our Treasurer Jose Carlos Villegas.

As we will be voting on our new board, we encourage any member interested in joining the board (or becoming more involved as deputy sector leader) to contact adrienne.bonwick@anzmex.org prior to February 13 in order that we can prepare a proposal in time for the assembly.

Please note that the Assembly will be preceeded by a networking cocktail and therefore we request each attendee to cover a $250 MXN quota. 

As you may know, undertaking the Annual Assembly is a legal requirement for our Association and thus we must comply with the legal procedure regarding the number of attending members in order to make the voting process valid. Therefore it is of major importance that each member is represented and that  the arrival time is respected.
 
In case it is impossible for you to attend we encourage you to send someone on your behalf or to send the attached PROXY FORM.  We kindly request that you confirm the attendance of the representative of your organisation or send your PROXY FORM by COB Friday 13th February the latest. We encourage members to bring colleagues from their organisation in order that they learn more about ANZMEX and engage with our members.
