Dear Members:

The British Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber, the Department for International Trade and  Scottish Development International, are delighted to invite you to our upcoming breakfast-conference:

Energy Reform Mexico: Upstream update June 2017 - The BritChaM Energy Group view

Our own group of experts include:

•  Ruben Cruz from KMPG, delivering a key presentation of the status of the Reform

•  David Shields from Energía a Debate as moderator

•  Karla Torres from Shell to discuss importance of local content for the sector and the reform

•  Harry Bockmeulen from Petróleos Monterrey to share the operator experience, contracts and Ronda 1 bidding process

•  Jim Peden from Katoni Engineering to offer the service company view and perspective

•  Nicolas Borda from HaynesBoone and the upstream contract and farmout legal considerations

In addition, this event will give guests the opportunity to hear first hand experiences and lessons learned from key upstream companies currently operating/servicing operators under the new rules of engagement. This considers the changes generated by the Energy Reform as per CNH, CRE and ASEA regulations.

The UK Oil and Gas trade delegation visiting Mexico in early June, will attend this breakfast-conference. The group of nearly 20 UK companies, will be delighted to have the opportunity to meet and discuss business opportunities in Mexico during, and after the event. We certainly suggest all our BritChaM Members to make the most of this opportunity to learn more about the delegation and get to know the companies. We will be publishing the names of the companies in the near future and share further details with yourselves.
