The New Zealand Ambassador; Clare Kelly, The Australian Ambassador; Tim George and the President of Codere Mexico; Phd. Berenice Rangel had the honour to host the Official VIP Launch Dinner of the "ANZMEX Racing week" that was held in the Jockey Club at the Hipódromo de las Américas
During the dinner, guests enjoyed exquisite New Zealand wines and a special Australian menu together with the company of our guests of honour; Sheila Laxon; Australian trainer, winner of Melbourne Cup in 2001 and Enrique Gracida, famous mexican ex- jockey recognised for his unique international racing trayectory, who shared with the attendees their experience and passion for horse racing.
In addition, the most important race of Australia; Melbourne Cup was live streamed. This race is knowned in Australia as "the race that stops the nation" and has taken place every first Tuesday of November since 1861 in the city of Melbourne. It is the most important sporting event in Australia as it integrates the whole society in an exciting event of passion, courage, party and glamour.
