ANZMEX hosted the "Racing Lunch" for its members, their colleagues and families at the Hipódromo de las Americas with the aim of celebrating the shared tradition and passion between Australia, New Zealand and México for horse racing.
Invitees to the Racing Lunch included the ANZMEX community and our guests of honor: Sheila Laxon; Australian trainer, winner of Melbourne Cup in 2001 and Enrique Gracida, famous Mexican ex- jockey recognized for his unique international racing trajectory who shared with the attendees their experience and passion for horse racing.

In addition, ANZMEX sponsored a race for which the Ambassadors of Australia and New Zealand gave the price to the winning horse.
To follow the Australian tradition and to recreate the Melbourne Cup ambiance; women were encouraged to bring their favorite dress and hat. For this, all women attending the Racing Lunch were also invited to the "Fashion Coffee" the 6th of November where five different designers presented their accessories to best match their outfits.
