In collaboration with the Australian Trade Commission and IMEXDI, ANZMEX is proud to announce the inaugural

Australia-Mexico Infrastructure Finance Forum (AMIFF)

This timely and unprecedented event will facilitate dialogue, information exchange and professional liaison between key players in the Australian and Mexican pension funds and the infrastructure sector to highlight and explore investment opportunities in Mexico and Australia.

Australian superannuation funds are now recording massive growth rates previously only seen in the days before the global financial crisis. It has the fourth largest private pensions savings pool in the world and its superannuation funds manage A$2.05tn (US$1.7tn) of assets as of March 2015.

With its strong growth trends and growing economic clout, Latin America has risen in recent years to become a vital part of the international economy, with Mexican infrastructure reforms forming a key part of this emergence.

In particular, the Mexican Government has updated the already massive, broad reaching national infrastructure plan 2014-2018. The plan includes significant investments in infrastructure including communications and transport, energy, water, health, urban development and housing, and tourism. The plan was budgeted at US $590bn.

AMIFF is designed to harness this unique combination of resilient economies and powerful investment potential, to foster the potential bilateral opportunities.
