LANZBC - New Contract Position Available in NZ

The Latin America New Zealand Business Council is now calling for applications for the replacement position of 'Secretary to the Board'. This contract position will support the Council's Board in managing the Council's events, communications, membership servicing and administration.

Any individual providing such services would need to be a person (or any company providing such services would need to engage a person approved by the Council) who:

  • Has administrative, financial and communication skills and a strong customer service ethos
  • Is experienced in event management and stakeholder engagement
  • Can interact successfully with leaders in business and government
  • Is technically literate and able to manage websites
  • Can produce high quality content for newsletters and website
  • Is fluent in written and spoken English (knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is desirable but not essential)


The contractor is responsible to the Council President. The contractor will ideally be based in Auckland or Wellington, and will operate from their own premises and provide their own tools of trade. The Council will sign a Contract for Services with the successful contractor.

Shortlisted applicants will need to be available for interviews from 13-14 August.
