New Faces at ANZMEX

Dear Members and Friends of ANZMEX Business Council


We would like to share with you some developments in regard to our staff.
Firstly, Lucia Coman, who has been our Director for the past year will be returning to Australia in early April to pursue the next phase of her career.  Her last day with ANZMEX will be 23rd of March.  I’m sure that you will all join me in thanking Lucia for her hard work and enthusiasm over the past year and wishing her the very best in the future.  Lucia’s personal email is  if you would like to contact her, and of course if you are visiting Sydney she would love to see you.
It gives me great pleasure to announce the arrival of new Director Hector Martinez. Hector will join us on March 15th as Director.  Most recently, Hector was Director for Asia and Oceania for ProMexico.  Prior to this, he opened the ProMexico office in HongKong as Trade Commissioner.  Over his 7 year career with ProMexico, Hector has been an active member of the board of ANZMEX as the ProMexico representative.  After completing his studies at UNAM,  Hector attended University of Technology Sydney and then completed his Masters in Political Science in Science Po.   We believe that Hector’s professional experience and extensive contacts across the region will bring enormous value to our members.  If you don’t already know Hector, I encourage you to contact him and get to know him.  Hector’s email is  

The handover from Lucia is already underway, and I hope that in coming weeks you will have the opportunity to be in contact with Hector to discuss future plans.  Please join us for informal drinks on Friday 18th March at 4pm at The Living Room, at the W Hotel to farewell Lucia and welcome Hector.
