There is no question that 2022 presented a turbulent global scenario, with the Ukraine conflict having direct impact on global economics, geopolitics, and sustainability. Supply chains have been stressed to the very limits as energy security and affordability have become key issues.

Corporations are upping ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) investments and corporate disclosure is becoming standardized across the energy world.

On the other hand, the climate risk conflict continues, even as Net Zero commitments increase but often lack robust implementation.

For Mexico, how are cross-sector companies coping with their decarbonization pledges? Are energy intensive industries such as refining, cement and mining, adhering, and moving on the right Net Zero direction? Are C-suite executives mandating sustainable initiatives?

These and other questions, will be put forward to our distinguished expert panellists, presenting their perspective, experience of who wins & why on the sustainable roadmap.

The Chatham House Rule will be enforced and the debate will be conducted in English.
