The publication of the new version of NOM-001-SEMARNAT represents a new chapter in the regulation and management of wastewater discharges in Mexico. More than 20 years apart from its original version, this new standard incorporates new requirements, parameters and thresholds that may represent challenges to the industry. In this seminar, we´ll discuss on the changes included in the standard, the next steps for regulators and private parties and ERM´s experience on how this challenges may be overcome. Please join us for an insightful conversation on the future of wastewater management in Mexico.
Rosa Jiménez has twenty-six years of experience as senior environmental consultant and health and safety engineer and currently as Practice Manager providing consulting services in regulatory compliance and management systems for different sectors such as O&G; power, mining, chemical and manufacturing. She has also conducted EHS audits for both compliance and management systems, implementation of EHS programs, incident/accident investigation, EHS training, environmental risk assessments, environmental site assessments Phase I, H&S risk analysis, environmental impact assessments and emergency response plans.
The Chatham House Rule will be enforced during this event and it will be conducted in English.
